The world grew a little quieter on April 14, 2026, when Steve Wyly, 75, of Mt. Mesa, passed away.

Born with a quick wit and a generous spirit, Steve moved through life with a blend of humor and service that made people feel lighter just by being around him. He had a gift for turning ordinary moments into shared laughter, and an instinct for stepping in to help long before anyone had to ask.

Whether he was offering a hand, lifting someone’s spirits with a well‑timed joke, or simply showing up when it mattered most, Steve lived in a way that made kindness feel effortless. His presence left an imprint on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path.

Services will take place at Kern River Valley Cemetery, located at 8441 Burlando Road, Wofford Heights, CA 93285, on May 3rd, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Following the service, a celebration of life will be held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Mt. Mesa, CA, where friends and family are invited to commemorate his legacy and honor his deep commitment to the community.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved him.
