With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved brother, uncle, grandpa and friend, Stephen Jon Welch, age 76.
Steve lived in the Lake Isabella Valley for over 35 years.
Steve was a decorated Vietnam War Veteran and was a Sergeant in the infantry, having been awarded the Bronze Star.
His service will be held on May 15 at the Bakersfield National Cemetery, 20 miles east of Bakersfield at 30338 E. Bear Mountain Blvd., Arvin, CA 93203 at 12:30pm.
His military escort will leave Lake Isabella Valley Mortuary at 8:30 am to proceed to the cemetery.
