Movies Under The Stars
Our movie for this month is CATTLE KING. This old western, starring Robert Taylor, was a major production that was almost entirely shot in the Kern River Valley. In this a very good movie, you will see the South Fork area, the Neil House, the Kern River, the banks of Lake Isabella and much more. Join us at 7:00 PM at the Pack Station behind the Kern Valley Museum for a fun evening. As always it is free to the public. Popcorn and sodas will be available for sale.

History Talk
Gene Verbeet will present T. J. Gilbert and the Rest of the Story starting at 11:00 AM at the Pack Station behind the KV Museum. Gene presented T. J. Gilbert during Tales on the Trail last year. As Paul Harvey used to say, “this is the rest of the story”. There is much more information about T. J. Gilbert, one of our pioneers, that Gene could not include during Tales. As always, our History Talks are free to the public. Be sure to attend and learn all there is about this long-lived Kernville resident.
