Emergency Crews Respond to Rollover Crash on Highway 178 Near Rancheria Road

LAKE ISABELLA — Multiple Kern County Fire Department units responded Monday afternoon, December 1, to a rollover traffic collision on Highway 178 near Rancheria Road.
The incident was dispatched at 3:16 p.m., according to PulsePoint. Responding units included BB1, BE10, BE11, and TK41. Ambulance unit AMB17 was cleared a short time later.
The crash occurred along a portion of Highway 178 that sees frequent collisions, particularly during holiday travel periods and rapidly changing weather.
As of Monday evening, no information has been released on injuries or whether lanes were blocked. CHP has not reported a closure, and the highway remains open.
