An Onyx man was killed after his car collided with another vehicle March 30 on State Route 178 west of Doyle Ranch in Onyx.
According to a news release from the Kern County Coroner’s Office, Sean Gordon Stewart, 42, died at the scene of the accident that took place at 10:25 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol was the investigating agency.
A postmortem examination will be performed to confirm cause and manner of death.
His next of kin has been notified.
