The Kern River Valley Art Association is seeking assistance for a particular volunteer position at their Book Store’s coffee kiosk, located at the Station building, in Wofford Heights.
President of the association, Buffalo Folsom, told the Kern Valley Sun, on Sunday August 25, “Right now we’re looking for people to help with the coffee cart because financially we’re still in that volunteer mode. We figured out that the coffee cart is reasonably heavy. So what we’re looking for is two people to work for 4 hours a day.”
Folsom said the two volunteers would bring the cart out and put it away after serving coffee, and he believes there are some people strong enough to push the cart alone without help.
