William LeRoy Bishop passed away on May 9, 2020, at the age of 55, as a result of a fall at his home in Bodfish, California.
Bill was born on May 18, 1964, in Santa Monica, California. He spent most of his childhood in West Hills, California, and graduated from Canoga Park High School.
After two years at Pierce Junior College, he transferred to California State University at San Luis Obispo where he earned a bachelor’s degree in dairy sciences.
His main career was as a health inspector for San Bernardino County. He enjoyed rock ‘n’ roll, muscle cars, dirt bikes, Harleys, and huskies.
He was predeceased by his parents, LeRoy Stanley and LouRita Deitchler Bishop, and by his older brother, Donald Lewis Bishop of Denver, Colorado. He is dearly remembered by his many relatives, including two of his closest aunts, Helen Holmer of Bad Medicine Lake, Minnesota, and Beverly Har-grove of Costa Mesa, California, and 27 cousins, and by his friends, including neighbor Ismael Garcia.
