Wallace Awards Ceremony: Students of the Month

Wallace Elementary School held their first awards ceremony celebrating the achievements of a select group of students who stood out in academics, attendance, and attitude. The two awards granted to the pupils of the school were Student of the Month and the Husky Award. Between the two awards given, 80 plus students received certificates stating their achievements. One by one each grade lined up to show them off after announcement to excited parents. In addition, further prizes were given to each grade for attendance and cleanliness. For cleanliness one class received a Golden Paws ticket that symbolized 10 points towards a pizza party at the end of the year. One class from each grade were gifted a Husky doll to proudly show their class that they were the best in attendance for that month. Individual attendance awards were granted to students through ‘WOW’ tickets which went into a raffle style drawing and the name that was drawn won a free pizza and drink from Pizza Factory.
