Vicki Lynn Bauer was born on November 4, 1951, in Dayton, OH, to Donald D. Bailey and Betty J. Smith. She passed away on the evening of June 6, 2018. She was surrounded by her family and friends in her last days.
Vicki moved to California at the age of 7 and returned to Ohio when she was 33. She raised her children there for the next 9 years before returning to the Golden State and settling into the KRV for the last 25 years. Vicki was full of life and was loved by all who knew her. She loved to get on the dance floor when a good song came on; she would jump up and start dancing. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Her greatest joy in life were her three children and six grandchildren. Vicki loved the holidays and celebrating them; she had a shirt for every holiday. Vicki was a member and volunteer of the VFW Post and Moose Lodge for several years. She loved volunteering her time to help out in whatever way she could. If you ever ate at the Post, she was the one that greeted you with her amazing smile. She will be greatly missed by all.
Vicki is preceded in death by the love of her life, Larry Strongman, Sr.; her father, Donald D. Bailey; and her brothers, Wayne Bailey and Sidney Bailey.
Vicki is survived by her mother, Betty Bush, and step-father Clinton Bush of Bodfish, Calif.; siblings Bonnie Wimmer and Steve of Weldon, Calif.; Donald Bailey, Jr., and wife, Penny, of Bodfish, Calif.; her children, Kurt Bailey and Misty of Frazier Park, Calif.; Sheri Buck and husband, Jeff, of Lancaster, Calif.; Nanci Perry and husband, Nick, of Lake Isabella, Calif.; grandchildren Matthew Bailey, Kristina Buck, Cheyanne Bailey, Aneicia Perry, Zander Perry and Molly Bailey.
