The Kern Valley Broncs were well represented when HDL All-League selections came out.
In total eight Broncs earned All-League designation. Two on the first team, four on the second team, and one Honorable Mention and one All-Academic. Leading the way were Zack Wargo and Ethan Stockwell who were named to the first team. Wargo was selected as a pitcher, while E. Stockwell was named as on outfielder.
The second team All-League Broncs were Seth Stockwell as a pitcher, Jordan Mean as a catcher, Carson Strange as an infielder, and Cameron Thomas as an outfielder.
The Honorable Mention All-League went to Chris Lopez and the All Academic went to Aeden Quezada. The Broncs finished second in the HDL this past season.
Another honor coming their way were four players from the Broncs who were chosen to play in the Lancaster Rotary All-Star game that was played on Sunday. This game was held at JetHawk Stadium in Lancaster.
Earning the right to play in the All-Star game from Kern Valley were S. Stockwell, Strange, Thomas, and Wargo.
This is the 50th Anniversary Lancaster Rotary All-Star Game. This will mark the last one played at JetHawk Stadium. No Minor League baseball team plays there and it seems the plan is to turn it into a soccer stadium.
