Two accidents on SR 155

On June 10, 2018, at approximately 1:40 p.m., Party #1 was riding his 2009 Harley Davidson westbound on State Route 155 (SR-155), approximately 1 mile west of Rancheria Road, at approximately 45 mph. For unknown reasons, Party #1 applied his brakes and lost control of his motorcycle as he went around a left hand curve. Party #1’s motorcycle struck at ascending dirt mountainside and Party #1 was ejected from his motorcycle. Party #1 sustained major injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision. The collision remains under investigation.

On June 11, 2018, at approximately 9 p.m., Party #1 was driving a dark gray 2014 BMW westbound on State Route 155, west of Air Force Drive. Party #1 was driving at an unknown speed. For unknown reasons, Party #1 veered onto the right shoulder, causing Vehicle #1 to drive off of the main-traveled portion of the highway. Vehicle #1 collided with multiple large boulders and overturned. Vehicle #1 became engulfed in fire. Party #1 succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The cause of this collision remains under investigation.
