Sheriff’s Operation in Kern River Valley Leads to 14 Arrests for Illegal Lodging, Warrants

A Kern County Sheriff’s operation targeting illegal squatting and individuals wanted on active arrest warrants led to 14 arrests in the Kern River Valley on Tuesday, Jan. 27, as deputies carried out a focused enforcement effort out of the Kern Valley Substation, according to the sheriff’s office.
