The Drones Are Not Theirs!

Posted

The drones are not from Mars. Is that supposed to be comforting? For some reason, it has always seemed easier to accept if the thing that troubled us came from some place we did not understand. Even when explanations for what we saw traversing the skies above us were reasonable, we still did not want them to be true. So, we came up with ‘conspiracy theories. cover ups, and government denial. For some reason it seemed more plausible if what we were seeing were flying machines far more advanced than ours and from far off in the secret corner of space we didn’t want to know about. All well and good, for the moment. Then the rest of that story had to be realized. If these spaceships were from some other universe, who or what was flying them? Or at least, if not flying them, who were the passengers of these UFO’s as they began to be called? Of course, little green men. Simple. Smaller beings than ourselves, color other than any of ours, and men. Not women, not creatures, but men like you and me. Less threatening that way.
That explanation fit the time of 1940 thru the end of 1947, but now we were in a reality of our own. Notwithstanding the invaders from our imaginations, we have not been without conflict ever since the first army conquered another. But we were entering a time in our history where the war we were fighting was not so black and white as the others. The enemy could not be distinguished by a uniform or a language. This war was cold. The only similarity with any other war were the accumulation of causalities. The whole world was involved and the whole human race was suspect. Trust was ambiguous, and security was all but absent. What better time for the little green men to intervene?
The sightings of their spacecraft grew more numerous and widespread from the alleged alien crash in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. If any correlation could be drawn between the presence of these mysterious objects and the increase of activity in our cold war, it would be that the activity of the two increased simultaneously. This would continue for the next 44 years. The Cold War, as it was called, ended in 1991 with the fall of the iron curtain and the collapse of the Soviet Socialist Republic. So, then why didn’t the reports of UFO’s stop when Russia was defeated? How could there be any of whatever these things were still flying around in earth’s skies? Then came the so called, whistle blowers. Eyewitnesses to strange goings on and alien technology. Reports of reverse engineering and sudden and rapid advancements in the materials we used in our everyday lives. Gifts from beings from other worlds? Perhaps.
The sightings of these spacecraft grew more detailed, and even more intimate as more and more of them began to come out of hiding as it were. At first, in the 1940’s, most of the objects were seen at night, and then it was usually only lights in a dark sky acting erratic. But then, sometime in the 1950’s up until as recently as last year, the objects appeared in broad daylight. Exposing their shapes, colors, and speed. Just like that curious cat who could not leave well enough alone, the visitors approached airplanes, jets, both civilian and military. Interested maybe in how advanced we had become with our own flying machines. We had entered it seemed, into a world that they had been proprietary to, so far. We were sending men to the moon, unmanned spacecraft to other planets, and then we broke free of our galaxy and a probe went beyond. Maybe they are getting a little uneasy about where we seem to be headed, and they may not like it.
Recently, a revelation of what should be earth shaking has developed. Our government, and our military have, in writing, acknowledged that the objects in questions, the ones we were told were a part of the Cold War, were indeed unidentified and unknown to anything we could even begin to compare them to from earth. In their relenting, reversing, and revising, they were also renamed. Now, we no longer refer to these craft of possible extraterrestrial origin as UFOs, but in government language we call them UAP’s, Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena. The phrase was instituted in 2021 by the ODN, Office of the Director of National Intelligence. It was more, ‘encompassing than the unofficial, UFO designation. UAP covers more than just alien life, it includes anything that flies that cannot be identified. The explanation in real life is that UFO was not a government designation, so, for them to admit their existence, a government agency had to name them. To control the situation.  Amazing how we thought these minds were capable of putting together any sort of cover up or conspiracy theory back in the day.
So, then again, if the drones are not some other species doing a peeping tom number on us, they must be from somewhere here on earth. They must be so advanced that they are virtually undetected most of the time, and when they are spotted, they are capable of speeding away apparently very quickly. Here’s the thing. If they are ours, why are they flying around us? If they are not posing any threat, why are they so interested in what we are doing? How close they get and how much can they really see and hear? Which is scarier, that these drones are from another galaxy, or that they are from our government?
