The Kern Valley Sun will deploy and implement a paywall for website access beginning March 31, 2025. This will help enhance the coverage of Valley news and sports
coverage.
All current print subscribers will get free access to the kernvalleysun.com website, which includes staff, and independent submitted articles, some of which will be
exclusive to the website and will not be published in the print edition.
Non-subscribers will continue to have free access to obituaries, advertising web extras, and limited other stories on the website.
Those website viewers who want to access local news, local sports, county news and the e-edition will have to purchase a print and digital subscription or a digital-only subscription.
Users can purchase a print and digital subscription plan for $58.50 per year or a digital-only subscription for $40 per year.
