For the second time this season the Broncs soccer team got to celebrate a win. Kern Valley bested Desert 3-0.
Both teams played the first half to a scoreless tie. Three second half goals by Kern Valley pushed them to the victory. Three different Kern Valley players were able to put the ball in the net. Ajay Montgomery, Tristan Beckham, and Matthew Vierra each got one past the Scorpions goalkeeper.
The other two games this past week put the Broncs back in the losing column as they fell to Frazier Mountain and Rosamond. In the match versus the Falcons of Frazier Mountain four goals in the first half created an unsurmountable deficit for the Broncs. Two more goals scored by the Falcons created the final of 6-0 in favor of Frazier Mountain.
When they faced off with the Roadrunners another halftime deficit led the Broncs to their second straight loss after picking up a pair of wins last week. When the teams went to the break Rosamond had a 2-0 margin. In the second half, the Roadrunners popped in three more goals to make it 5-0 and hand Kern Valey the loss.
The Broncs wrapped up their season on the road as they traveled to Cal City on Tuesday.
