The Kern Valley Substation in Lake Isabella is open to the public; however, clerical staffing will be limited, and hours of availability may vary. Patrol staffing is not impacted. This issue was caused by clerical staffing availability.
Community members who plan to visit the substation are encouraged to call ahead to ensure staff is available.
