Farmington, New Mexico is not only the home of award-winning Chokecherry Canyon in the Glade Run Recreation Area, which was named the No. 1 New Mexico trail on the Top Off Road Trails in America list, published by PartCatalog in 2015, but is also once again the host site of the highly anticipated W.E. Rock Grand National Championship.

The national competitive rock crawling championship is a favorite among competitors and fans alike and will take place Sept. 8­­-10.

The event features the highest skilled competitive rock crawling contest, where competitors can compete for bragging rights and a cash purse. Two days of racing will take place on Sept. 9-10, with registration the night of Sept. 8, during the Fall Crawl in Downtown Farmington.

"Farmington is a chosen destination among off-road enthusiasts, rock crawlers and adventure seekers," said Tonya Stinson, Executive Director of Farmington Convention and Visitors Bureau. "Whether you're a participant, a supporter cheering on a loved one, or an avid fan, you won't want to miss this action-packed event. Farmington is the place to be this fall to watch the best rock crawling participants in the nation."

For participants and spectators, there will be food vendors, official merchandise for sale and more. Those attending are encouraged to bring folding chairs and blankets and dress according to the weather.

Tickets are available at the following price levels: $15 adult (ages 16+) for 1 day; $25 adult (ages 16+) for 2 days; $5 children (ages 8 to 15); kids free (7 and under). There is a military discount of $5 off with ID at the gate. Spectator gates will open at 9 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday, with the competitions beginning at 10 a.m.
