One never wants to intentionally leave information out of the newspaper.
I, as the sports editor of the Kern Valley Sun have to apologize to the sophomore Broncs youth football team.
The information and highlights were sitting in my email and I committed an error. I dropped the ball and turned it over to the other team.
With all that said, on Oct. 19, the Broncs played the Bakersfield Braves team.
The outcome favored the Braves 33-0.
Kern Valley had three ball carriers that toted the ball in this game. Jackson Price carried the ball four times and went for 23 yards. Eric Sonnier picked up 11 yards, while Jaadyn Cleveland gained three yards.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Broncs were led by Qwintin Pariseau with five tackles. Chase Keeney collected four tackles, while Evan Brooks and Price each had three tackles. Sonnier finished with a pair of tackles and recovered a fumble. Getting credited with two tackles each were, Adam Asbury and Jakob Lawson. Wrapping up the tackles were Joel Donoho, Jude Donoho, Dustin Snowdale, Ayden Fisher, and Jace Rowe with one apiece.
