Sherman was born on Oct. 19, 1928, in Van Nuys, Calif.
Sherman served in the army during the Korean War and worked for the DWP in L.A. for 35 years.
His heart was weak, but it was filled with goodness and honor.
He was preceded in death by his lifelong wife of 47 years, Patsy.
Sherman leaves his wife of 27 years, Nancy of 27; children, Christine, Steve and Jeff; stepchildren, Jonathan and Bonnie; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with other close relatives who mourn his death, for he was very special in their lives.
Sherman had many friends who will miss his wisdom and wit, along with his outgoing personality.
He loved his family with all his heart and his passion for kindness will always prevail.
Sherman was talented in so many things including sports and tasks around the home. He could master anything that came his way.
Memorial services will be held at Riverside Park in Kernville on Oct. 19, 2020, his 92nd birthday, at 2 p.m.
All who loved and cared for Sherman are invited. God bless this wonderful man!
