Rosella was born April 22, 1945 in Platte City, MO to Floyd and Alice Cline.
Rosella lived in Missouri until 1956 when she moved with her sister Roberta and mother Alice to Los Angeles, Calif.
Rosella graduated from George Washington high school. After high school she met and married Gary Moore in 1967. They had two children together, Michelle Lacher of Bodfish and Michael Moore of Lake Isabella.
In 1976, Rosella and Gary moved to the Kern River Valley to be closer to family and raise their children. Rosella remained in the valley until her death in October, living in the same house her husband built her before his death in 1983.
Rosella worked many years in the valley doing home health care. First starting out caring for her mother until her death in 1988, then caring for numerous clients throughout the valley until her retirement.
On October 24, Rosie’s long-time battle with illness came to an end. Although sick many times, Rose battled through it all to be here for her family through thick and thin. The loss of Rose leaves a large void in the lives of her family and friends. Although our pain will subside, her love and memory will live on forever.
Rosella is survived by her two children, her sister, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Rosella was preceded in death by her mother Alice, her stepfather Albin (Andy) Anderson and her husband Gary Moore.
A graveside celebration of life will be held on November 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Kern River Valley Cemetery.
