This afternoon, Rep. Vince Fong (CA-20) attended the joint meeting of Congress with Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu. Prime Minister Netanyahu addressed both chambers of Congress for the first time since 2015.
“America stands with Israel, and Prime Minister Netanyahu’s speech outlined the critical importance of why we must be united in defeating terrorism and fighting for a secure world,” said Rep. Fong. “Nearly ten months after the Hamas attacks on Israel, it is important to continue to show our unwavering support with Israel – our staunchest ally in the Middle East. When it comes to defeating the evil forces in the world, we must heed these words spoken today about the U.S.-Israel relationship – ‘when we stand together, something very simple happens: We win, they lose.’”
