We would like to welcome our new Office and Events Coordinator Anna Kopperman. She is excited to get started and to meet all of you soon at the next General Meeting.
I hope to see you all at today’s general meeting. Our speaker is Michael Dillenbeck from Kern County Public Works. He will be talking to us about a grant he is seeking to provide Isabella with additional sidewalks and pedestrian and bike paths. This project is huge for our community. Come out and listen to his presentation at noon at Paradise Cove. Admission is free and catered lunch is $10. This month catered by Gary Cope, Isabella Supermarket. Please RSVP either way, as seating is limited.
Trail’s End Real Estate will be hosting our mixer on June 13 from 6-8 p.m. Stop by and say hello. They are located in the Lake Isabella post office shopping plaza. We will also be performing a ribbon cutting during the mixer to officially welcome them to the valley.
Congratulations to the Kernville Chamber’s new Board of Directors. New President Jon Feldchau says the new board has great plans for the future. A huge thank you and kudos to Immediate Past President Cheryl Borthick for so many wonderful and productive years of service.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 30. It is a big day for the KRV Chamber: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. is the Fireworks Family Fun Day Extravaganza at Tank Park. There will be vendors, concessions, BBQ tri-tip, hot dogs, games, contests, water slides and more. Come out and support your chamber and community. That same evening at dark (approximately 9:15-9:30 p.m.) the fireworks show start, and we look forward to a spectacular show.
