Dr. Fraser was born near Three Rivers, Calif. On May 31, 1927. Her father was a doctor. He passed away when Doc was 6 years old. Her mother Dorothy Harting Fraser was a teacher. Doc was an only child. Dr. Fraser died March 29, 2017 at Kern Valley Hospital. She was the last of the Fraser clan.
Dr. Fraser was the Radiologist at Kern Valley Hospital for many years. Her first love was being a doctor. She was a special lady and friend.
Dr., Fraser was never married and had no children. She had a lot of Aunts and cousins. There were a couple special people in her life. A cousin Bebe Radicin, and coworker Althea Sepulveda, both of Orange County and her staff at Kern Valley Hospital. She belonged to many clubs in the Valley. She loved music, mostly Opera. She wrote music, sang in choir and played many instruments. She was a super story teller and loved to perform.
On June 23, 2016 Doc's house burned in the Erskine Fire. She lost everything but her puppy, Morkey and what she was wearing. Her heart was broken but made new home in Wofford Heights with her caregiver Tilley. She loved all the young people and Bar-b-ques she had with her new family. The Tilley family adopted her.
Dr. Fraser went to Pomona College. She was a very read and traveled lady. She was a Phi Beta Cappa. She lived most of her young life in Laguna Beach.
We would like to thank all who help make her life a good one. Family coworkers, Optimal Home Health, Kern Valley Hospital's James Gutzman, P.A. and all of Tilley's neighbors and family.
Her memorial service will be at the Kernville Methodist Church on Saturday April 22 at 3:00 p.m. 251 Big Blue Road, Kernville, Calif. 93238
