Bobby Joe Craig was born in Delano, Calif., on April 18, 1945, and died July 24, 2017 at his sister's home in Wofford Heights.
Bobby attended Kit Carson Elementary and Hanford Union High School (Class of 1963). He served in the Navy Branch from 1966 to 1972. Bobby also worked at Sears and was a Truck Driver for several years. Bobby settled down in the Lake Isabella area in 2010. After retirement, Bobby worked as a campground host at Three Rivers and Lake Isabella. During his down time, Bobby enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, woodwork, and spending time with his friends.
He is survived by his twin sister, Betty Miller, of Wofford Heights, Calif. and daughter, Deanna Vail, of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; his son, Bobby Craig Jr, of Washington State, Wash.; and plenty of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Edith Craig, and father, Clearance Craig of Hanford, Calif.
The Celebration of Life will be held on August 5, 2017 at Tillie Camp Ground for family and friends.
