Medal for one Bronc at Dinuba Invitational

The Broncs wrestlers competed in the Dinuba Invitational Tournament on Jan. 3-4. They would bring nine wrestlers to compete at the New Year tournament.

Diego Tapia was the lone medalist for Kern Valley taking home eighth place. He would go 3-3 for the tournament in pinning down the medal.
Chris Mendoza and Ricardo Tapia each finished the tournament with a record of 2-2. They would both finish in the top 12.

Will Leakas, Dean Hinkey, Mateo Garza, Deacon Crockett, and Max Crockett were the other Kern Valley wrestlers to compete in the tournament.
Head coach Wes Woody said, “They all showed progress and showed that they are learning and getting better everyday. This Thursday is the last home dual of the season. Come out and support your Broncs at 5 p.m. It is also Senior Night.”
