Margaret Ann Noel, age 72, passed away Tuesday night, September 24, 2019 surrounded by loved ones.
Most people knew her as Maggie, Mom, Grandma or Aunt Margaret but everyone knew her as a friend.
She spent most of her adult life living in Lake Isabella with her husband Don and later splitting their time in their winter home in San Felipe, Baja.
Maggie was famous for her parties in the game room where she’d frequently host family and friends for nights filled with games, country music and laughter. She was an exceptional cook and an even better cocktail maker. Her Bloody Mary’s and Martinis are legendary.
Together, with Don they created a sense of home for friends and family alike that will live forever.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Don Noel. Her children Jeannie Warren, Robin O’malley, Donald Brophy, Scott Brophy, Linda Noel Lane, Donald Noel and Ronnie Noel. Her siblings Tammy O’Neil and James Sparks. And 21 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and 4 nieces and nephews.
She is preceded by her parents Jake Sparks and Frankie Jean Goldsmith and her brother Robert Sparks. Services to be held at Hillcrest Memorial on October 19, 2019 at 2:00pm with reception to follow at 3:30pm.
