The Kern County Sheriff’s Office identified the man who was found dead in the area of the Miracle Hot Springs in Lake Isabella last month.
On Feb. 17, William Warden Carroll, 57, of Lake Isabella, was found deceased, at the hot springs prompting the U.S. Forest Service to close off the area to visitors. Carroll was the second person to die in the area in less than two years.
The manner and cause of his death is under investigation.
