Louis Ameleo Cardé, 47, unexpectedly passed away on February 18, 2019, in Sweet Home, Oregon, while working on a beautiful piece of art.
Louis was born in Los Angeles to Jose “Cheo” Louis Cardé and Maria Elaina Schooner on December 7, 1971. He was a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend. He always emphasized the importance of family and taking care of those you love. An adventurer at heart, he loved being on the water, hiking, and exploring the beauties of world around him. He also had a deep appreciation for art and music and was a passionate learner with interests ranging from literature to mathematics to philosophy. Most recently he was remodeling a home in Sweet Home and pursuing experimental art in his free time.
Louis is preceded in death by his mother and father.
Louis is survived by his two daughters, Emily Rose Weitz and Stevie Marie Cardé; his step-children, Emily Weber and Chris Weber; his brother, Miklos Dyke; his five sisters: Elizabeth Cardé, Donnelle Morris, Rosemary Cardé, Stephanie Coodey, and Jacqueline Taylor; along with many nieces and nephews. He was also expecting his first grandchild later this year.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at Ewing’s on the Kern in Kernville. Please contact his daughter Emily (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you are planning to attend the service so they will know how many people to expect.
