The Lighthouse Church in Lake Isabella has been holding food drives for those in need of food. On Thursday, May 28 they had cars lined up down the street. They served 40 cars and a combination of 103 people, not counting church patrons. They typically do the food drives on Wednesdays and Fridays, but due to Memorial Day, they held it on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
Thanks to Pastor Charles and wife Charlotte Trueblood, and church patrons Sandy LaFlouer, Eileen Humphreys, and Chris and Natalie Barton, there was plenty of food to share with the community. As of Sunday, May 31, the Lighthouse is back open for service.
