Vickie Fish, Departmental Aid for the Kern River Valley Branch Library, read the children Egg Hunt themed stories Friday evening, March 29. A dinosaur visited the children, and library staff brought into the community room multiple colors of balloons for the children to play with. Then the kids enjoyed an egg hunt, with plastic eggs to fill their buckets. Participants, with help from their parents, transferred their prizes into colorful bags they were allowed to bring home. Library staff estimated the event has been a tradition for several years, though they could not do this event during the COVID restriction years.
