Kern County Sheriff’s Report

On 11/24/18, deputies arrested Jennifer Born, age 34, in the 2700 block of Hinson St., Lake Isabella, for display on vehicle / present to officer unlawful registration, possession of controlled substance paraphernalia, using a wireless telephone while driving, unregistered vehicle and no proof of insurance.

On 11/25/18, deputies arrested Joshua Gemmell, age 39, at the intersection of Alta Sierra Ave. and Steensen St., Lake Isabella, for obstructing a peace officer in the line of duty and an active warrant.

On 11/26/18, deputies arrested Terry Dorsey, III, age 38, in the 5500 block of Isabel Dr., Weldon, for two active warrants.

On 11/26/18, deputies arrested Jesseph Majid, age 25, in the 2300 block of Scovern St., Lake Isabella, for violation of a court order: domestic violence, obstruct / resist a peace officer in the line of duty, possession of unlawful paraphernalia and four active warrants

On 11/27/18, deputies arrested Dionne Flewelling, age 51, in the 6700 block of Lake Isabella Blvd., Lake Isabella, for an active warrant.

On 11/27/18, deputies arrested James Miller, age 30, at the intersection of Hwy 178 and Entrada Blvd., Lake Isabella, for possession of unlawful paraphernalia, an active felony warrant and an active misdemeanor warrant.

On 11/27/18, deputies arrested Teresa Contreras, age 31, at the intersection of Hwy 178 and Entrada Blvd., Lake Isabella, for possession of a controlled substance for sale, transportation of a controlled substance and contempt: disobey of a court order.

On 11/28/18, deputies arrested Steven Sanders, age 48, in the 14000 block of Allen Ave., Weldon, for an active felony warrant.

On 11/28/18, deputies arrested Elizabeth Lozano, age 36, in the 2100 block of Evans Rd., Wofford Heights, for an active warrant.

On 11/29/18, deputies arrested Jennifer Deputy, age 40, in the 6500 block of Wofford Heights Blvd., Wofford Heights for an active felony warrant.

On 11/30/18, deputies arrested Maximo Balderas-Robledo, age 28, at the intersection of Elizabeth Norris Rd. and Lake Isabella Blvd., Lake Isabella, for possession of controlled substance, failure to maintain lighting equipment and an active felony warrant.

November CHP Arrest Report

On Nov. 5, 2018, Harold Jiler was involved in a traffic collision on Lake Isabella Blvd. During the collision investigation, Jiler displayed signs and symptoms of alcoholic beverage intoxication, and an investigation led to his arrest for misdemeanor driving under the influence.

On Nov. 8, 2018, Matthew Warner led BLM Law Enforcement on a short pursuit. Warner was apprehended and taken into custody. Warner displayed signs and symptoms of alcoholic beverage intoxication, and an investigation by CHP led to his arrest for driving under the influence.

On Nov. 12, 2018, a vehicle was reported by a concerned citizen for reckless driving. CHP officers located the described vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was identified as Roger McMahan. McMahan displayed signs and symptoms of alcoholic beverage intoxication, and an investigation led to his arrest for misdemeanor driving under the influence.

On Nov. 16, 2018, CHP officers responded to a DUI driver and assist for USFS law enforcement. The driver, later identified as Mark Richards, led USFS on a short pursuit in Wofford Heights. Richards was apprehended, and, upon contact, displayed signs and symptoms of alcoholic beverage intoxication. The subsequent investigation by CHP led to Richards’ arrest for misdemeanor driving under the influence.

On Nov. 19, 2018, CHP officers contacted a subject in possession of a reported stolen vehicle at the Delonegha day use area. The subject was identified as Tiffney Loneeagle. Officers located in Loneeagle’s possession suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and prescription pills.

On Nov. 21, 2018, a traffic stop was made on a vehicle for weaving while traveling on State Route 178. The driver was identified as Keith Mulkey. Upon contact, Mulkey displayed signs and symptoms of alcoholic beverage intoxication and the subsequent investigation led to his arrest for misdemeanor driving under the influence.

On Nov. 26, 2018, CHP officers responded to a collision that occurred in the Sierra Gateway parking lot in Kernville. The driver causing the collision fled the scene, traveling southbound on Sierra Way. The driver and vehicle were located a short time later. The driver, identified as Mia Gonzales, displayed signs and symptoms of alcoholic beverage intoxication and the subsequent investigation led to her arrest for misdemeanor driving under the influence.

On Nov. 26, 2018, at approximately 11 p.m., CHP responded to a traffic collision on State Route 178, west of Elizabeth Norris Rd. The driver, identified as Justin Cofield, was traveling eastbound on State Route 178 when he lost control of his 1997 Jeep, causing it to overturn in the center divide. Cofield was extricated from his vehicle by Kern County Fire and then air lifted to Kern Medical for treatment of his injuries. Cofield displayed signs and symptoms of alcoholic beverage intoxication, and the subsequent investigation led to his arrest for misdemeanor driving under the influence.
