The returners stepped up and showed the newcomers what playing Kern Valley basketball is all about. Overall, I liked our aggressiveness and willingness to sacrifice on the court. It was great to get everyone involved and continue to develop roles on the team. With each passing day, I feel the team is becoming a close-knit group capable of playing at a high level. Our ability to adapt has always been one of our strengths, and that was evident in our play this week. I want to see us continue to grow and communicate on the court, but overall, I was pleased with our effort and commitment to one another. We have a big week coming up, and everyone will need to be at their best for us to compete.”
