Lady Broncs get busy

The Lady Broncs jayvee volleyball team’s busy week came to an end as they participated in a tournament.

They played a pair of home matches before going on the road for the tournament. Then they played four matches in the tournament. They would go 1-4-1 in those six matches.

First off, they were at home when they faced Shafter. The Lady Generals would take the match in two games. They beat Kern Valley 25-14 and 25-4.

Two days later, Sierra came to town. This time, the Lady Broncs would lose the match by identical 25-12 scores.

In the tournament, they opened against Ridgeview, where they lost in two games 16-14 and 15-13. Match two was versus North. They would fall by the scores of 15-5 and 15-10. Up next was

Kennedy, where the two teams split their games resulting in a tie. Kern Valley began the match winning 15-13. They were then beaten 15-8 to end in the tie.

The last match of the tournament was a one-game match against West. The Lady Broncs dominated and won the game 25-8 to finish the tournament 1-2-1.
