The Kern River Valley Art Association (KRVAA) held a Parking Lot Sale for a fundraiser, this past Friday November 15, and Saturday, November 16.
Lead docent for the KRVAA, Kimberly Salazar, told the Kern Valley Sun that the event was to fundraise for more programs, and more events, and opportunities for the community, and to keep the lights on. She said, “We basically run on donations and grants, and our volunteers, which we’re grateful for.”
Salazar said the group was selling a myriad of items. “We have a lot of furniture, tools, art equipment, supplies, drums.”
The KRVAA also has all kinds of books for sale at the Station Espresso and Books store.
Salazar said that funds from coffee and pastries are used as donations.
She said, “If people are interested in any of the items they see in the pictures they can always call us and see if we still have them. I’m sure we’re going to have a lot of things.” The number to call is (760) 478-0077
