The jayvee Lady Broncs came into the week atop the High Desert League standings. They knew two more wins and they would be undefeated in HDL play and collect the league title.
Neither team put up much of a fight as the Kern Valley squad put some offense together. The Lady Broncs beat Rosamond 15-5 in five innings. They completed their championship task with an 18-7 victory over Cal City to close out the season.
In the game with the Lady Roadrunners, Kern Valley used a 10-run fourth to break open the game. They had 15 batters step up to the plate in the inning. As a team the Lady Broncs had three hits and six walks in the 10-run inning.
Kern Valley took the early lead 2-0 after their first inning at bats. Rosamond cut the lead in half with one run, but the Lady Broncs added one in the second to make it 3-2. No scoring for the third left it that way.
Kern Valley came to bat in the fourth and pushed themselves the lop-sided win.

In game two of the week against the Lady Ravens of Cal City, the Lady Broncs scored in every inning they played. The bats were rolling as the team collected eight hits and were issued twelve free passes. The big inning was the fourth as they plated eight runs to increase their margin.
Of the twelve players on the team, ten of them scored at least one run in the contest.
