On Nov. 9, Kern Valley High School began delivering food for children ages 2 to 18 at various locations around the community.

The schedule is as follows:

Young Avenue and Lake Isabella Boulevard in Lake Isabella: 1:07 p.m.
Lake Isabella Boulevard at the Bodfish Market in Bodfish: 1:09 p.m.
Hatton and Barlow Road in Lake Isabella: 1:09 p.m.
Lake Isabella Boulevard and Lakeland Street in Lake Isabella: 1:10 p.m.

Bodfish Canyon Road and Bud Way in Bodfish: 1:17 p.m.
Mt. Mesa Road and Lynch Canyon in Mountain Mesa: 1:18 p.m.
Sycamore Drive and Oak Street in Wofford Heights: 1:20 p.m.
Cal Bodfish Road and Columbus in Bodfish: 1:28 p.m.
(West and east)

Burlando Road and Jeralken Street in Kernville: 1:30/1:34 p.m.
(End of road)

Navajo Avenue and Highway 178 in South Lake: 1:30/1:40 p.m.
Residents can also go to the Kern Valley High School campus between 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday to pick up food.

The grab-and-go bags available on Fridays now include food to feed children throughout the weekend.
