Kern Valley has 12 All-Leaguers

The 2019 High Desert League All-League teams have been selected.

Kern Valley as a school had a total of 12 athletes named to the softball and baseball All-League teams.

The HDL champion Lady Broncs had eight selections, including the Player of the Year and Pitcher of the Year.

Sadi Hartman was named as the Player of the Year, while Helen Hayes was selected as the Pitcher of the Year.

Earning first team selections for the Lady Broncs were Haily Martinez and Brenna Acosta.

Making the second team were Lexi Baker and Kassy Opferman. The Honorable Mention selection went to Krista Witten, who picked up her second selection to the All-Academic team.

For the Broncs baseball squad, they had a pair of First Team selections, one Honorable Mention and one All-Academic.

Making the First team was Damon Sage as an infielder and Nick Thomas as an outfielder. The Honorable Mention selection went to Tanner Tito who would also be named to the All-Academic Team.
