Four others from Kern Valley took to the mats at the JV level. They were able to gain a pair of second place finishes and two coming in third. Delilah McComas, a junior worked her way up to second place. Freshman, Naomi Tapia also collected a second-place spot at the tournament. Sophomore Reiss Ritchison and freshman Keira Hayes followed with third place finishes,
Earlier in the week. Kern Valley took on Tehachapi in a dual match but fell short of the team victory. The Lady Broncs head coach Angel Anderson said, “I have about half newbies and half returners, so they really put in work this week.”
