Kern Valley falls to Rosamond

The junior varsity Broncs baseball squad traveled to Rosamond only to come home with a loss.

The Kern Valley team was limited to just five hits in the 10-4 High Desert League loss.

The Roadrunners opened the scoring with one in the first and one in the second to make it 2-0. They would make it 6-0 with four runs in the third.

Tailing by the six-run margin, the Broncs got all their scoring in the fourth inning as they sent 12 batters to the plate. They had three hits, three walks and one hit batter to try and make a comeback.

It was not to be as they were shut down the rest of the way.

Rosamond collected 10 hits in the game to score in every inning played. They added four more runs to create the final score.

The Broncs finished their season on Thursday, but no information was made available.
