Kern County Sheriff’s Office – Public Information Officer
On May 19th, 2024, at approximately 11:00 P.M., deputies from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Kern Valley Substation conducted a traffic enforcement stop in the 5600 block of Lake Isabella Boulevard.
Deputies ultimately arrested the driver of the vehicle, Albert Muesse (31) of Lake Isabella for an outstanding arrest warrant. The passenger of the vehicle, Michael Deatherage (51) of Lake Isabella was found to be in possession of a loaded firearm.
Muesse was booked into the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Jail for his outstanding arrest warrant. Deatherage was booked into the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Jail for ex-felon in possession of a firearm and ex-felon in possession of ammunition.
