Kern River Rock N Blues Fest kicked off this past Thursday, September 26 in Kernville. A weekend long event with food, pub crawls, Sarge’s ‘Wreaths 4 Vets’ Cornhole Tournament, great vendors, and live music from 13 Southern California bands. Seven bands played at different bars throughout the weekend. The first annual Sarge’s Cornhole Tournament was a hit. There were 12 teams. The final two teams were Dan & Mary vs. Ray & Tawna. The champions were Ray & Tawna, they won $120. In second place was Dan & Mary who won $60.
