KCSO makes multiple arrests in drug bust

Deputies with the Kern Valley Substation served a warrant within the 2500 block of Smith Lane in Lake Isabella to 40-year old James Shelton on October 29, 2019. He was found to have had 150 grams of methamphetamine, 21 grams of heroin, and an unspecified amount of cash taped underneath his car. Shelton was arrested for possession of methamphetamine for sale, resisting arrest, disobeying a court order and various other drug charges. In addition, 24-year-old Ashely Duncan and 27-year-old Saecha Gray were arrested at the residence. Duncan was arrested on charges of resisting arrest, disobeying a court order, and four misdemeanor warrants. Gray was arrested on charges of resisting arrest and disobeying a court order.
