Kathleen “Kathy” Ann Gray, age 69, resident of Lake Isabella for the last 12 years, died of Bone Cancer on February 21, 2017, in her home, surrounded by family and friends.
Kathleen is survived by her two daughters, Susan Wendland and Angela Potts, both living in Lake Isabella, and her son Brett Gray of San Diego, Calif.; her grandchildren, Rachel Krowel, Timothy Delpi, Nicole Wendland, Daniel Potts, Justin Potts and Brandon Wendland; as well as five great-grandkids. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Krowel of Lake Isabella, Calif., and brother, Michael McMahon of Waverly, New York.
Kathleen was born September 13, 1947, in Waverly, New York, to parents Thomas and Marguerite McMahon. She attended Waverly Junior/Senior High School. After moving to California, Kathleen became a successful business owner. After retiring from the beauty industry, she moved to Lake Isabella to help raise her grandchildren. Kathy made an impact on everyone she met. She was very kindhearted and a good friend who had a way of making you laugh with her puns. She was a very loving and caring grandmother.
She was always here for others when they needed a place to stay, and she was always giving good advice. She enjoyed going to the casino. She loved her family and had a gift of sharing happiness, wisdom and knowledge.
Her services will be held April 1, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Christian Assembly Church in Mt. Mesa, Calif., with a reception to follow at 2325 Harnage St., Lake Isabella, Calif.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to hospice nurse Anna Harbough for the care given and shown to Kathleen during her last few months with us.
