Karen Lorna Kyt Wallace Swain

Born to Noreen and Lucky Kyt in North Hollywood Hospital, Karen attended Haskell Avenue Elementary School in Granada Hills through seventh grade. She graduated eighth grade from Woodrow Wallace Middle School in Lake Isabella. She attended Kern Valley High School. She was on the drill team and was in CSF. She was a member of 4-H and also The Rainbow Girls, and she was the Second Worthy Advisor. She attended Highland Chapel United Methodist Church and sang with the Chorale from the three Methodist Churches in the valley during the Christmas season along with older women, and she attended the youth group in Kernville.

She is survived by her mother Noreen Kyt Anderson, her sister Cheryl Brock and her husband Kenneth Brock, and her brother Kevin Kyt and his wife Martha. She is survived by her sons: Joseph Wallace and Jonathan Wallace, and her daughter Holly Lindsay McFadden. She is preceded in death by her son Gordon Lindsay and infant daughter Tammy Loureen Wallace.

She leaves behind many grandchildren: Tylor, Mason, Austin and Joshua Wallace, also grandsons Kenneth Wallace and Cory Lowery. She leaves behinds granddaughters Danica and Trinity McFadden of Ohio and grandson Dylan, also cousin Randy Kyt and family. She is survived by niece and nephews, Kalen and Kyle Brock; and Christopher, Andrew and Robert Kyt. She leaves behind Uncle Tom Walker in Oregon. She has two great-grandsons, Keegan and Tucker Wallace.

Last but not least, she leaves behind a dear friend and fiancé Gino who stood by her during her illness and cared for her during her final fight with cancer.

Her memorial will be held on July 1, 2017, at Highland Chapel at 11 a.m.
