Jenetta married Robert Gulk and they spent the next 60 years following their dreams. They settled in Torrance, Calif., where they raised their family of three children. In retirement, they moved to Kernville, Calif., where the real fun began! She was active in the Dam Dancers, the Elks, Grandmothers of California, and the Moose Lodge. One of her fondest experiences was the time she spent with her friends performing the Hula and participating in Luaus.
Jenetta loved time spent at the Kern River. There were many camping trips locally and to national parks. She had wonderful memories of extensive travel with Robert. To sum up her hobbies would be to say she loved cooking, music and dancing.
The true joy of her life was time spent with the family she and Robert built. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Jenetta is survived by Robert Gulk of Kernville, Calif., her daughter, Vickie Symanski and her husband Paul Symanski of Williston, Vt., and Rick Gulk, her son, of Kernville, Calif.
