It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in the KRV

Photo by Shannon Rapose / Kern Valley Sun:  Christmas in Kernville is in full swing with Circle Park being fully decorated with lights and puffy holiday displays. Santa even manages to drop by every Saturday evening, until Dec. 16.

Photo by George Stahl / Special to the Sun:  The Knights of Columbus Council #7927 of St. Jude Catholic Church in Wofford Heights held their 5th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Coat and Food Drive on Friday, Dec. 1. Over 50 coats, a few dozen blankets, and more than 40 pounds of canned foods were collected. Donations came from St. Jude parishioners as well as from other members of the KRV community and will be distributed to those in need around the valley.
