Being selected for an All-Star game is always and accomplishment. For the Lady Broncs Ruby Hawkins, she would turn that into being named the Offensive Player of the Kern County All-Star volleyball match.
Hawkings had a gathering from the valley to go an see her, not only play in the All-Star game, but would get to see her excel. Hawkins play time included all six rotations. She played for the Mountain and Horizon Team A squad in the match. This All-Star volleyball match was for seniors around the Kern High District.
