Harriet Faith Hall passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, surrounded by the love of her family, and entered Heaven’s Gate. Harriet was born on March 6, 1932, in Los Angeles, Calif., to Charles and Eva Denio.
Harriet spent most of her years living in Southern California, where she started and ran her own catering business. She also worked in various flower shops creating floral designs and worked for H&R Block as a tax preparer.
In 2004, Harriet moved from Southern California to Lake Isabella with her husband of 42 years, Steve Hall, to retire. She attended Highland Chapel where she became active in United Methodist Women participating in community outreach as well as being the music/choir/chimes director and visiting various nursing homes on a regular basis leading singing. She had also been a member of the Kern Valley Community Orchestra playing the viola. Harriet later joined Garden Community Fellowship where she organized crafting and fellowship get-togethers. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Most of all, Harriet was a loving and devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother and friend.
Harriet was creative, gifted, full of life with a smile and hug for everyone and a heart that gave love abundantly. She was preceded in death by three children: Melinda Warner, Tim Warner and Steve Hall, Jr., and two great-grandchildren, Bryar and Cole. She is survived by her husband, Steve Hall; sister, Juanita (Roger) Stephenson; children, Emy (Ed) Springle, Julia (Jim) Manley, Joe (Venae) Warner and Matt Warner; grandchildren, Peter, Paul, Brianna (Jordan), Renae (Seth) and Rachel (Michael); and great-grandchildren Ryder, Jake, Harper and Madison.
A celebration of Harriet’s life will take place on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Garden Community Fellowship, 2931 Erskine Creek Road, Lake Isabella, Calif. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be sent to Garden Community Fellowship Helps Ministry, P.O. Box 429, Bodfish, Calif., 93205.
