Harold Rae Anderson passed away Sunday morning, October 18. Harold was born in Arkansas but grew up in Redondo Beach, California.
He was married to Amaryllis and they had a daughter, Myra.
He lived and worked in the South Bay area as a skilled plumber in a family business for many years.
He later moved to the Kern River Valley where he became a staple at Mcnally’s restaurant for over 30 years.
Harold spent much of his time fishing and camping on the Kern River.
He also enjoyed playing chess and just hanging out with his friends at Riverside Park.
Some of his friends who will be missing him are Frank, Steve, Mike, Susan, Sue, Graig, Jim, Tina and Vicky. Harold is survived by his brothers, Gary Anderson, Bill Findley (Dub) and Jim Anderson. Also his sister, Bobbie McIntire as well as his nieces, Tammy Anderson, Stacie Vehaqure and Shelly Reagan; and nephew Steve MCIntire.
Harold will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A celebration of his life will be scheduled for a later date.
