Humbled by the support and donations received during the Erskine Fire, Kern Valley FFA wanted to return the favor.
So, they teamed up with Totally Mutts Dog Grooming in Lake Isabella to collect donations for the over 600 animals at Butte County Fairgrounds and Chico Airport that have been displaced by the fires that have devastated northern California for the last several weeks.
More than 9,000 lbs. of feed was collected and delivered to the Chico FFA in Butte County on Friday, November 23. Over $1,500 in monetary donations were also collected and used to purchase other much needed supplies like heat lamps, buckets, feed, bedding and hay.
